By using our space and tools, you agree to these rules. Safety and respect are our non-negotiables.
1General Use & Eligibility
- EligibilityNo one under the age of 17 is allowed in the Makerspace without adult supervision. All members under 18 must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian.
- Hours of OperationActive members have 24/7 access 365 days a year. Guest access is limited and requires prior inquiry.
Safety Protocol
Safety is our highest priority. Violation of safety rules may result in immediate revocation of membership.
- Always wear appropriate PPE for the equipment you are using.
- Never operate equipment you are not trained or certified to use.
- Follow all posted safety guidelines and instructions.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to staff immediately.
2Equipment & Materials
Usage Rights
Use equipment only for its intended purpose. Personal projects are allowed, but large-scale commercial production is strictly prohibited.
Restricted Items
Bringing in hazardous substances is strictly prohibited. Consumable materials must be supplied by members unless specified.
3Liability & Waiver
"By using the Makerspace, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved and agree to hold Tarrant County Makerspace and its owner/operator harmless from any liability for injuries or damages arising from your use of the space or equipment."
4Membership & Payment
We accept payments through Stripe. Membership may be terminated for any reason, including violation of safety rules or non-payment of dues.
